Once again RACN arrange the EUROMEET.  After much investigation and checking we have decided to invite you to Bådstø Inn and Camping.  This is a beautiful spot nicely situated by the river Gudbrandslågen in the County of Oppland.  Viz. Tretten in the borough of Øyer.   Here you can find everything to make a successful Rambler/AMC meet.  It Is centrally situated in short distance of the mountains , a beach, playground, minigolf, large lawns, fully comprehensible bar, indoors and outdoors cafeteria and its own diningroom. We also mention Skibladner (the White Swan of Mjøsa) well worth a visit.

At Tretten you can also find Cadillac Diner with an interior which is well worth a visit for a car enthusiast.    This area has many possibilities for you all also after the meet.  Take you family along and enjoy a few days in Gudbrandsdalen and top off with a fantastic Euromeet.



Location

Bådstø Inn is situated by the river Gudbrandslågen just in between the Winter Olympics arenas of Kvitfjell and Hafjell, 25 minutes nord of the Olympic town of Lillehammer and Norway’s largest lake Mjøsa, at walking distance from Tretten along the E6 north of Oslo .

AMC Show – Judging

According to the Club rules each class must have at least 4 cars for judging.

The classes are:

60’s cars from 1954 up until 1969

70’s cars from 1970 up until 1984

There is also a Jeep class and Drag race class.  If there is not enough participants in these classes ( minimum 4 per class) the cars will compete in the appropriate 60’s or 70’s classes

This years’ novelty is a guest class for cars closely related to our cars, as Nash, Hudson etc. and we welcome these to our Euromeet.  This opens up new possibilities.



Accomodation

Cabins with running water and bathrooms: one with 6 beds, 2 with 5 beds and 4 with 4 beds.

Cabins without running water: 20 with 4 beds.  There are bathroom facilities on the premises.  Caravans and tents can be accommodated.  The Inn has rooms with one, two, three or four beds.  The inn also has a restaurant in which breakfast can be had.



Prices and reservation

Prices are not negociated fully at this point.  We will come back to you as soon as we have the prices. Program

A full program will be made for this meet during the winter.



Friday Aug 16th

Arrival day.  There will be a barbeque gathering which starts at 1600 /  4 pm throughout the evening.



Saturday Aug. 17th

11 AM We invite you to a cruise of the area

1 PM  Exhibition of the AMCs – Swap meet.  Sale of Club items.  Competitions and more

6 PM Get together for all including everything a RACN Meet should comprise



Sunday Aug. 18th

Tänä vuonna on RACN:n vuoro järjestää EUROMEET. Pitkällisen etsinnän ja tarkistelun jälkeen olemme päättänyt pitää miitin Bådstø Inn and Camping mökkikylässä. Kyseessä on todella kaunis paikka Gudbrandslågen joen rannalla Opplandin kunnassa, Trettenissä Øyer läänissä. Paikalta löydät kaikki mitä tarvitaan onnistuneeseen Rambler/AMC Euromeettiin.



Sijainti on keskeinen, lyhyen matkan päässä vuorilta, rannalta, leikkikentältä, minigolf radalta, suurilta majoitusmahdollisuuksilta ja hyvältä baarilta. Paikalla on myös ulko sekä sisäkahvila omine ravintoloineen. Unohtamatta Skibladner - Mjøsan valkoinen joutsenta.



Trettenistä löytyy myös Cadillac Diner, jonka sisustus on todellakin vierailun arvoinen jenkkiautoharrastajille. Alueella on myös paljon tekemistä miitin jälkeen, eli ota perheesei mukaan ja nauti pari päivää vaikka Gudbrandsdalenissa ja täydennä loma upealla Euromeetillä.

Bådstø Inn on Gudbrandslågen joen varrella, muutaman minuutin päässä talviolympialaisten areenoista (Kvitfjell ja Hafjell), 25 minuutin päässä olympiakaupunki Lillehammerista sekä Norjan suurimmasta järvestä Mjøsa:sta.

AMC Näyttelyn Tuomarointi

Kerhon sääntöjen mukaan jokaisessa luokassa tulee olla vähintään 4 autoa että luokka palkitaan.



Luokat ovat:

- 60’s cars (1954-1969)

- 70’s cars (1970-1984)

- Jeeps (mikäli osallistujia ei riitä niin autot siirretään vuosilukuryhmiin)

- Kiihdytysautot (mikäli osallistujia ei riitä niin autot siirretään vuosilukuryhmiin)

- Nash & Hudson (sekä muut läheiset merkit)



Majoitus

- Mökki, juokseva vesi ja vessa. (1x6hlö, 2x5hlö, 4x4hlö)

- Mökki, ilman juoksevaa vettä (20x4hlö). Erilliset vessat.

- Karavaani ja telttapaikat

- The Inn tarjoaa hotellihuoneita 1 / 2 / 3 / 4 sängyllä.

Kaikille on mahdollisuus nauttia aamupala hotellilla eri maksusta.



Hinnat ja Varaukset

- Hinnat ovat vielä hieman avoinna. Palaamme asiaan kun ne selviävät. Hintaluokka ei ainakaan ole korkeampi kuin mitä tähän asti on totuttu.
